DIRECTV’s Christmas at Kathy’s 2024

Role: Entertainment Partnerships & Execution Lead

The second annual Christmas at Kathy's, hosted by DIRECTV at Kathy Hilton's residence was a gathering to honor top reality TV talent, celebrities, and influencers while serving as a final wrap up to DIRECTV’s ‘year of reality’. The event featured a blue carpet to generate earned media and feature coverage and a content studio for in-depth interviews for social, both on & off handle.

This event generated brand affinity, earned media, content for O&O as well as off-handle channels, and ultimately site traffic. It also generated positive buzz, press coverage, and social engagement for DIRECTV, enhancing its reputation and awareness among Reality TV fans. The program leveraged the high-profile nature of DIRECTV & Reality TV’s influence and reach to create a compelling and immersive experience.

This partnership not only highlighted DIRECTV’s commitment to creating premium and memorable experiences but also reinforced the strategy of leveraging strong IPs to deliver a 360 marketing campaign. By engaging key audiences through this exclusive event, we will further cemented DIRECTV’s position as a leader in the Entertainment space and promoted the "stream DIRECTV satellite-free" message.
